A portrait of the city, one corner at a time.

This ongoing series brings together 50 paintings of depanneurs across Montreal—those quiet, ever-present storefronts that anchor neighborhoods and hold the rhythm of daily life.

At the heart of the project is a simple constraint: every painting is built around its own unique blue. Fifty paintings, fifty distinct shades—each one shaping the mood, the light, and the emotional register of the scene.

Together, the series forms a fragmented but intimate map of the city—an exploration of repetition, variation, and the quiet poetry of the everyday.
